From Adoptee to Counselor

Thank you to the UK-based Accord Journal for inviting me in as a guest writer this month. Adoption isn’t a one-size-fits-all process. However, the framework of Adoption Literacy presented in this article, through my personal story as an adoptee, can help inform the way pastors and community members might grow in their capacity to offer hope-driven care, formally and informally.
