A space for adult transracial adoptees*
*the term “transracial” here refers to individuals who’ve experienced family separation and then placement into another family with different racial and/or ethnic identities (Barn, 2013; Branco, 2022)
When I asked what you’d like from this group, someone said, “A safe place to share and connect with others. Resources for mental health support and adoption.”
That’s the general outcome we’re pursuing.
And… giving space for a living, breathing, group dynamic as each person brings something unique to our time together. It literally won’t be the same without you there because you have something special to offer as well as receive; I’m truly looking forward to facilitating that experience for and with you all.
We’ll gather for six 90-minute sessions monthly and virtually on Zoom:
Tuesdays 7:30pm-9:00pm Central Time July 9, Aug 6, Sep 10, Oct 8, Nov 5, and Dec 3

Registration: $299 July-December 2024
