Are you against adoption? Are you against your adopters? Why… why not?
In this episode of Office Hour with Your Therapist I’m taking a moment to address this question from y’all. Thanks so much for this!🎙
Short answer: yes & no.
From thinking about the systemic and institutionalized power dynamics that would compel a family to relinquish their child in the first place… to wondering how we might better serve the children who’ve been adopted, not just before and until the papers are signed, but throughout their lifespan.
