“Hi friends! In honor of #naam2020 I’ve partnered with Cam @therapyredeemed for a very special project, we’ve been working on this for over a year and now we can finally move forward!!
FIRST, K America Foundation is sponsoring 25 adoptees to go through Cam’s workbook “This is Why I Adopted.” It walks readers through his adoption journey and gives space for adoptees to reflect on their personal adoption story. On nearly every page there are prompts for self reflection, touchstones regarding adoption and clinical mental health education, along with vivid recollections of Cam’s personal journey through Korea and throughout his life.
As part of the workbook sponsorship, readers will be included in an online support forum where they can share their insights and connect with one another in a brave and creative atmosphere.

SECOND, K America Foundation is proud to be the first to donate to the Therapy Redeemed Scholarship Program!!! This particular grant will give 4 Korean adoptees access to 4 sessions each, of virtual adoption support. Together with Cam they each get to decide what they need most during this specific season of their journey. Sessions are informed by Cam’s clinical background as well as his personal expertise as an adult transracial adoptee.
